Just In: EFCC drills DSS finance director for alleged fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is reportedly interrogating the finance director of the Department of State Service (DSS), Kunle Kadri, for alleged fraud and mismanagement of public fund. A source from the EFCC told Premium Times that Kadri is being interrogated by the anti-graft agency for alleged fraud linked to the former director general of the DSS , Lawal Daura. Daura was sacked from office in 2018 after a controversial event when officials of the DSS invaded the National Assembly. Operatives of the EFCC reportedly claimed that they believe Kadri will help provide information around the controversy surrounding the N10.2 billion supplementary budget that the SSS received, in part, for its elections operations.
