A Nigerian lecturer has come under fire after he set an exam question based on a bible verse. The attempt to make a civil engineering course relate to a quote from the holy book has puzzled many people and caused them to react. The lecturer who teaches at the behest of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) set the exam question for a civil engineering course titled Hydrology. In the question, he quoted from Ecclesiastes chapter one verse seven in the bible which reads thus: "All streams run to the sea but the sea is not full, to the place where the streams flow there flow again." He then asked his students to relate the bible verse to the concept of hydrology.
