Nigeria and the world are still mourning the death of Pius Adesanmi, a professor of English and director of the Institute of African Studies at Carleton University, Canada. Adesanmi and another Nigerian identified as Ambassador Abiodun Bashua, were among the 157 persons on board an Ethiopian Airlines plane which crashed on Sunday, March 10. A day before the deadly crash, Adesanmi took to Twitter to sarcastically enlighten Nigerians that wrongly use "casted" in a sentence instead of "cast".
