Professor Adesanmi's powerful message to Nigerian voters day before the deadly crash

Nigeria and the world are still mourning the death of Pius Adesanmi, a professor of English and director of the Institute of African Studies at Carleton University, Canada. Adesanmi and another Nigerian identified as Ambassador Abiodun Bashua, were among the 157 persons on board an Ethiopian Airlines plane which crashed on Sunday, March 10. Ethiopian Airlines plane crash: UN secretary-general, other world leaders send condolences to victims' families

The Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed Sunday morning, March 10, was carrying at least 19 United Nations officials, some of whom were en route to a major UN-sponsored environmental conference in Nairobi, Kenya.
