President Donald J. Trump’s Concession Speech, By Rudolf Okonkwo

Fellow Americans, Nobody knows the joy of winning better than I do, believe me. I have always been a winner for as long as I can remember. Okay? Nobody knows the beauty of fighting to win better than I do. I am always a fighter and when I fight, I win.  Everybody knows that. I have reached the very top. Absolutely. And I reached the top at a very tremendous speed. You all know it. The first time I ran for office, I ran for president. It was beautiful. Right? What usually takes great men three attempts before they get a win, I won in a landslide the very first time I ran. I heard that it has never been done anywhere else in the world. In the last four years, I have accomplished for America things that presidents that were in office for twelve years did not accomplish. It is not even close. I made America a big-league winner again. I put billions and billions of dollars into your pockets through my amazing tax cuts. I have shown you that everything is possible if you have the rig

#EndSARS: It’s Time For #StreetToStreet Protests By Kunle Ogba

One lesson from the soccer parlance is widening the passes when the opposing team is too defensive and deadly in tackles. Every efforts at beating the crude opponents must be wide, creative, and disciplined. Crude teams lack these techniques but believe in choking and shock attacks: a complete trait of the current rulers as their stings of repressions are crude and brute. The IG came on air to declare war on protests; on fundamental human rights that actually brought in the Buhari regime. The IGP Adamu declarations of war and the Army’s affidavit of lies at the Lagos Judicial Panel show that the regime is out defend it’s class, by every wicked card.  So, while we have the army of youths and workers enough time to recoup under an economy of self help for the millions, organizers and mobilizers need to widen the bases of protests as well as the barricades. Already in Lagos for the last five days of the Great #EndSARS Revolt, about 1,123 barricades were mounted with about 500 R

Is Trump America’s Bad Weather? By Gbenro Olajuyigbe

Gbenro Olajuyigbe History is about the past but it moves into future faster than those who make them. It gets into the future the makers can only imagine! Waves of future is easy to hazard guessed if steps of present waves makers are marked. History moves toward ultimate triumph to make villain or victor out of its makers! As America moves away from Trump’s era to Biden’s time, it’s nice to interrogate the crisis of governance in a supposedly sanctuary of modern democracy and civilization. It is apt to juxtapose Trump’s policies with age long culture of governance that have become the American  spirit as well as whether Trump realize that he leads in an environment that it’s not safe to err! Donald Trump, President of United States is a ferocious protectionist and a wave maker, a history maker too! – powerful force breaker who chose to stand on the way of the Train of climate change, a pugilist in a boxing ring with virus! He is a man of immerse power with lesser wisdom to trian

The “Goddess” Called Kamala By Rèmí Oyèyemí

The author, Remi Oyeyemi She was my first love. My first choice when it all began. Of all the contestants that came out to run for the Presidency of the United States, she impressed me most. Looking into her eyes, it was easier to see the sparkle. The gleam of the dream was gleanable. The hope for a new day was palpable. Her heart of gold shined through. The ideal she wanted to bring to fruition was undeniably unambiguous. She wanted to be a Queen in a democracy. A philosopher Queen at that. I could feel the heat of the inferno raging in her belly. I could fathom the thorns she has torn to tatters. I could sense her solidity of purpose. Her body language was patently clear. It was lazed with no iota of equivocation. Clearly, her single-mindedness was not muddled in any manner. She came across as the harbinger of hope to the hopeless. A portent voice for the voiceless. By any stretch of imagination, she did not suggest herself as a saviour, but it was obvious she is on our side,
