Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Name Of The Lord

Topic: The Name Of The Lord [Seeds of Destiny 24 October 2019 Devotional] The Name of the Lord is not just a Name but a house, a tower of refuge. SCRIPTURE:  The Name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. –  Proverbs 18:10 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  The Name of the Lord is not just a Name but a house, a tower of refuge. It is an established fact that as we draw closer to the end of the age, there is an escalation of satanic wickedness and recklessness in all dimensions across the world (1 Peter 5:8). The names of the sicknesses and diseases we hear of today were not even mentioned just over twenty-five years ago. The vices and criminal activities that bedevil our society today are unprecedented in scale and intensity. When we were growing up, we hardly heard anything like kidnapping but today, the act of kidnapping seems to have overwhelmed the whole society; people bargain human lives as though they are bargaining tubers of yam. Nevertheless, in th

Topic: Affirming His Messianic Mission [DCLM Daily Manna 24 October 2019 Daily Devotional By Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi] Text:  Luke 7:19-30 (KJV) “Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached” –  (Luke 7:22). At 74, the United Nations has aged, having been established on October 24, 1945. There would be discordant reactions if emissaries were to be sent to its headquarters to find out if the organisation has achieved its four main purposes. The key objectives include: “Maintaining worldwide peace and security” and “Fostering cooperation between nations in order to solve economic, social, cultural or humanitarian international problems.” Has the UN met these goals of giving the people of the world peace, security and a sense of global togetherness? With our Lord Jesus Christ, there was no q

Distributed-element circuit

Distributed-element circuit . Distributed-element circuits are electrical circuits composed of lengths of transmission lines or other distributed components. Used mostly at microwave frequencies, they perform the same functions as conventional circuits composed of passive components, such as capacitors, inductors, and transformers. They are made by patterning the conducting medium itself, rather than connecting pre-manufactured components with the medium. A major advantage is that they can be produced cheaply on printed circuit boards for consumer products, such as satellite television. They are also made in coaxial and waveguide formats for applications such as radar, satellite communication, and microwave links. Distributed element circuits were used in radar in World War II, and later in military, space, and broadcasting infrastructure. Improvements in materials science led to broader applications, and they can now be found in domestic products such as satellite dishes and mobile p

One of these governing agents is culture. Every person is born into an existence culture, which must be learned and which shapes his/her life. Thus explains why the social scientist sees culture as the entire way of life within a society. Culture refers to what group share or hold in common. When a thing or a situation is said to be cultural, what is implied is that such development is not only shared but are deeply rooted and stable; it is not easily transitory. To this end, culture could be said to be “the sum total of the learned behavior of a group of people which are generally considered to be the tradition of that people and are transmitted from generation to generation” (Sitaram, 1970). Lotman (1973) sees cult
