United Kingdom Warns Citizens In Nigeria About Coronavirus

The United Kingdom has issued a warning to citizens in Nigeria following the confirmation of a case of Coronavirus in the country. An official announcement from Nigeria’s Ministry of Health confirmed that an Italian was tested positive to the virus. The government said that the man had been kept in isolation while those he came in contact with have are being contacted for test and isolation. The UK, through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, warned its citizens of the virus in the country. Mongolia President Quarantined After Visit To China

  President of Mongolia, Battulga Khaltmaa, has been quarantined after his return from China. President Khaltmaa and his officials had visited China on a solidarity visit over the outbreak of Coronavirus. The disease broke out in China in January 2020 and has recorded 2,867 deaths globally. The official, who returned on Friday, would be quarantined for 14 days, according local media in the country. The country, though China’s neighbour, has no case of Coronavirus at the moment. Battulga is the first Head of State to visit China since the country began implementing special measures to curb the virus outbreak in January. He arrived in Beijing with Foreign Minister, Tsogtbaatar Damdin, and other senior government officials on Thursday, and held a meeting with Chinese President, Xi Jinping, and Premier, Li Keqiang.   At least 28 persons have been identified and quarantined in Ogun State after they came in contact with Nigeria's first case of Coronavirus, SaharaReporters can confirm. BREAKING: Government Shuts Down Lafarge In Ogun State, Arrests Man Who Drove Italian Infected With Coronavirus To Lagos After SaharaReporters Story

  The Nigerian Government has shut down Lafarge, a cement manufacturing company in Ewekoro, Ogun State, after an exclusive story by SaharaReporters on Friday. An employee of the company, who drove an Italian infected with Coronavirus with an ambulance to Lagos for medical attention, has also been arrested. A clinic situated inside the cement factory has also been shut down while staff are currently locked inside a room after fears grew that the Italian had been in contact with many persons in Ogun State before being rushed to Lagos for medical help.
