Many persons are feared dead as gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday night attacked three communities in the Hawul Local Government Area of Borno State. The villages attacked include Debiro, Tashan Alade and Tirgitu. The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has said the body could embark on strike in the first quarter of 2021. In an interview with SaharaReporters on Thursday, the President of the union, Anderson Ezeibe, said the union had yet to take a position on the issue but would not rule out the possibility of going on strike early next year.
