Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has narrated how his deputy, Lamidi Adeosun, saved his life when he was ambushed by Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East. Buratai disclosed this in Kuta, Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State, on Monday. He said Adeosun, who is the present Chief of Training and Operations, was a competent officer, whose effort in rejigging the army paved the way for the successful operations in the battle against insurgency in the North-East. One passenger was killed on Monday when a bus and a sports utility vehicle collided with a moving commuter train at PWD end of Oshodi in Lagos. Director-General of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, said the bus with six passengers suddenly veered onto the tracks and collided with the train.
