BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Party Ward Chairman In Ondo

James Tolorunju Ajulo, a ward chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, has been abducted by gunmen. Ajulo was seized in front of his residence in the Ibaka quarters of Akungba Akoko on Sunday evening.  SaharaReporters gathered that he was factional chairman of the APC at Ward 13, Akoko South-West LGA of the state.  Tolu Babaleye, a close friend to the victim, confirmed the incident during a chat with our correspondent.   He said, "The hoodlums came in a vehicle and laid ambush in front of his house and as soon as he came home, he was kidnapped.\ "In fact, they drove him away in his own car while the vehicle they brought followed closely behind.  "No contact has been established with his family yet." It was learnt that the abduction of Ajulo has been reported at the Akungba Divisional Police Station. Spokesperson for the police in the state, Femi Joseph, could not immediately confirm the abduction when contacted by our correspond...

Nigeria Police Places Officers On Red Alert As United States, Iran Tensions Escalate

Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu   Nigeria's Inspector-General of Police, Adamu Mohamed, has ordered all commands and zones to be on red alert as it promises safety for all foreigners and Nigerians in the territory. The police said this amidst growing fear of an impending war between Iran and the United States. Gottlob Berger . Gottlob Berger (1896–1975) was a senior German Nazi official and the chief of the Main Office of the Schutzstaffel (SS) during World War II. He was transferred to the SS in 1936 by its commander, Heinrich Himmler. Berger was responsible for the growth of the armed wing of the SS, the Waffen-SS, evading controls over conscription and overseeing recruitment within and outside Germany, including among those who in no way reflected Himmler's ideas of "racial purity". Often clashing with senior military officers and even with his superiors over his recruiting methods, Berger grew the Waffen-SS to 38 divisions by the war's end. He placed his friend Oskar Dirlewanger in command of a unit of convicted criminals that later committed many war crimes. Indicted for war crimes himself on 6 January 1949, Berger was convicted on 13 April, including for his involvement in slave labour schemes and as a conscious participant in the concentration camp program.

52 Iranian Sites Will Be Attacked, US President, Trump, Threatens

  United States President, Donald Trump, has said that 52 Iranian sites would be attacked if the country launch any repressive attack against Americans and its properties.  Trump said this via series of tweets in response to comments from Iranian Government that it would revenge the death of Qasem Suleimani, an high ranking military personnel in Iran.  Suleimani was killed by an American MQ-9 reaper in an airstrike ordered by the United States.  Trump threatened that his country has primed its arsenals on 52 Iranian targets, as a revenge for the 52 American hostages taken by Iran in 1979. Damning Audit Report On NCAC Not During My Time -Runsewe

  Director-General of National Council for Arts and Culture, Olusegun Runsewe, has said that the audit report from the office of the Auditor-General of the Federation, was not during his administration. Runsewe said the report took into account the financials of the council between 2015 and 2016.  Hilary Ogbeche was the director of the council during that time. The 2017 audit report recently released by the Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation had indicted the NCAC and its Director- General of financial irregularities in contract awards and payments. According to the report, the financial irregularities were committed in 2015, 2016 and early 2017 before Runsewe was appointed.
