[Music + Video] Folabi Nuel – Yeshua

Folabi Nuel releases the audio and video of ‘ Yeshua ‘! There is something so unique about the name of Jesus and what’s much more unique is when we call the name Jesus in Hebrew “Yeshua”. It’s a reminder of the potency and power in the name of Jesus. Folabi Nuel beautifully captures this truth in his brand new single “Yeshua” which is his very first single off his new album “Hunger”; recorded live in two locations – The Lifepointe Church, Lekki, Lagos and David’s Christian Centre, Festac, Lagos. This sound captures the heart and sincerity in communal worship. Folabi Nuel has a divine mandate to bring people into a consciousness of God’s love and to make Him famous. He expresses this through every melody, word and rhythm. His sophomore album “Good God” featuring the likes of Wole Oni , and Florocka has been on the lips of many with songs such as “MY HEART” and GOOD GOD feat topping the charts for several weeks. Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, had said that the Turkish firm was expected to develop local brand of textile materials and accessories. Senate Orders Minister Out Of Meeting, Summons Fashola

The Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals on Monday walked out the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Abubakar Aliyu, from a budget defence session, according to a report by PUNCH. The panel said the minister was not competent to defend the ministry’s budget. Aliyu had appeared before the lawmakers to defend 2020 budget proposal of the ministry. Payment Of New Minimum Wage Will Depend On States’ Capacity —NGF

The Nigerian Governors’ Forum on Monday said the consequential increment in the implementation of the N30,000 minimum wage would depend on the capacity of each state government. He said, “The forum as the representative body of the states keenly followed what happened in the negotiations that led to that template. “As far as we are concerned, the best the forum can do is to stick with what has been agreed with the states. States are part of the tripartite negotiations. “States agreed to that N30,000 minimum wage increase. “States also know that there will be consequential adjustment but that will be determined by what happens on the state-by-state basis. “Because there are different number of workers and different issues at the state level. “Every state has its own trade union joint negotiating committe...

Operation Obviate

Operation Obviate . Operation Obviate was an unsuccessful British air raid of World War II that targeted the German battleship Tirpitz (pictured in 1943 or 1944). Conducted by Royal Air Force heavy bombers during the early hours of 29 October 1944, it sought to destroy the damaged battleship after she moved to a new anchorage near Tromsø in northern Norway. The attack followed the previous month's successful Operation Paravane, during which Tirpitz was crippled by British heavy bombers. In Operation Obviate, 38 bombers and a film aircraft departed from bases in northern Scotland. Obscured by clouds, the battleship was not directly hit, but was damaged by a bomb that exploded near her hull. A British bomber made a crash landing in Sweden after being hit by German anti-aircraft fire, and several others were damaged. The plans for the attack were reused for the next raid on the battleship, Operation Catechism, on 12 November, when Tirpitz was sunk with heavy loss of life.
