No Sex Party In Kaduna, Police Witnesses Tell Court

Police witnesses who conducted search operation at the venue of the botched sex party in Kaduna, have debunked claims that there was a sex party at Asher Kings and Queens restaurant and lounge on December 27, 2020. The two witnesses presented by the prosecutor, ASP Shola Olodowa, gave contradicting evidences of what transpired on the said date but both agreed that there was no sex party. A policeman, Alfa Yahaya, who led the operation to arrest five suspects, told the court that they visited the purported sex party location with two Hilux vehicles and eight personnel of Operation Yaki that were fully armed. In a contradicting statement, the second witness, Corporal Ibrahim Adamu, who was part of the operation, said they visited the restaurant with three Hilux vehicles with 15 armed operatives but did not witness any orgy. Court Adjourns Okupe’s N702Million Money Laundering Trial As Defence Witness Fails To Disclose Details

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the money laundering trial of Doyin Okupe, a former senior special assistant on public affairs to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan till March 5, 2021 for continuation of trial.   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arraigned Okupe, alongside his two companies: Value Trust Investments and Abrahams Telecoms on 59 counts bordering on money laundering and criminal diversion of funds to the tune of N702,000,000. At the resumed trial on Monday, the defence presented its fourth witness, Bamidele Salami, a member of the House of Representatives, who served as head of media in the office of the then senior special assistant on public affairs to President Jonathan. A 61-year-old woman, Mrs. Stella Omoigui, has demanded N50million compensation for her 11-year-old son, Master Osasu Omoigui, who was allegedly hit by a stray bullet in his genitals during #EndSARS protest. Mrs. Omoigui, a petty trader in Benin, told the Edo State Judicial Panel of Inquiry for victims of SARS and related abuses that her 11-year-son was hit by a stray bullet from a police gun while they were dispersing the #EndSARS protesters.  Osasu was said to be running an errand for his mother when he was hit by the bullet. The police in Katsina State have arrested a former caretaker chairman of the Jibia Local Government Area of the state, Haruna Musa Mota, over alleged ties with bandits. Concerns Grow As Five Nigerians In India Die Mysteriously In One Week

There is panic in the Igbo community in New Delhi, India after five healthy men died mysteriously within one week.   A broadcaster, Okwuluora, in a post on Facebook, said he was sent photos and videos from the incidents. “Five Igbo boys died in New Delhi, India within one week. I was sent the videos and pictures but I will not post them. So sad to behold. May their souls find peace. These are hard times,” he wrote. Kano Police Arrest Notorious Criminal Syndicate Led By Female Ex-convict

The Kano State Police Command said it had smashed a notorious criminal syndicate led by a 47-year-old ex-convict, Hauwa Mustapha.  The spokesperson of the command, Abdullahi Haruna, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, said the suspects specialize in car snatching and shop breaking.
