Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Wrong Company-Keep Off

Topic: The Wrong Company- Keep Off [Seeds Of Destiny 11 November 2019 Devotional] Nothing destroys a life like the wrong company. Friendship is not by force; friendship is by choice. SCRIPTURE:  Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.  Proverbs 27:17 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  Nothing destroys a life like the wrong company. Friendship is not by force; friendship is by choice. A wrong company is the company that has the potential to corrupt a person’s life and prevent him from fulfilling his Divine mandate on earth. Nothing destroys a life like the wrong company. Sometimes, the wrong company or association could be more destructive than sickness. This is why you must keep off the wrong company at all cost. The truth is, your company affects your destiny. If you are an eagle, company with eagles; avoid the company of vultures because vultures eat corruption but eagles do not taste corruption. In the same vein, if you are a lion, do not company with hyenas

DCLM Daily Manna – Envy Enthroned

Topic: Envy Enthroned [DCLM Daily Manna 11 November 2019 Daily Devotional By Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi] Text:  1 Samuel 22:6-10 Key Verse:  “That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?” –  (1 Samuel 22:8). The thought of a neighbour’s success often leaves natural man with the feeling of envy. Satan wanted to take the place of God but was debased. Cain killed his brother Abel and Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery because of envy. King Saul, in our text, had become very displeased with David since the day the women of Israel ascribed more glory to him than to the king (1 Samuel 18:7-9). At this point, the monster had become so enthroned in Saul’s life that he left the business of the kingdom in pursuit of David. Instead of being at the pala

He, therefore, called for a renewed commitment on the part of law enforce

International Scholars Call For Immediate Release Of Sowore

SaharaReporters Media A group of scholars and professionals from Nigeria and around the world, have urged the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to obey court orders and immediately release Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare from detention. The professionals held that the refusal of the government and the Department of State Services to release Sowore after meeting his bail condition was an indication that the government was determined to continue to hold on to both men for as long as possible. They also posited that the continued detention of Sowore and Mandate was an egregious injustice and a travesty of the rule of law. They said, “The charges that the Nigerian Government has brought against Sowore and Bakare are totally bogus and laughable. “Evidently, both have been targeted by the Buhari administration for their activism in the cause of political freedom and economic prosperity for all Nigerians. “In the specific case of Sowore, it would seem reasonable to surmi

We are going to be developing SMEs and the various value chains that come with it. Even crime will be reduced because youth unemployment will reduce.”  Oil News AddThis :  Original Author :  Sa

Northampton War Memorial

Northampton War Memorial . Northampton War Memorial is a First World War memorial on Wood Hill in the centre of Northampton, the county town of Northamptonshire, in central England. Designed by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and unveiled on 11 November 1926, it stands in a small garden in what was once part of the churchyard of All Saints' Church. It is one of the more elaborate town memorials in England, with a pair of obelisks, characteristic of the Lutyens war memorials, and a Stone of Remembrance, which he designed for the Imperial War Graves Commission. Stone flags appear as if draped on the obelisks; this feature is shared by several of his memorials, but was rejected for his Cenotaph in London. Today the Northampton War Memorial is a Grade I listed building; it was upgraded from Grade II in 2015 when the Lutyens war memorials were declared a "national collection" and all were granted listed building status or had their listing renewed.
