Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Excellence-The Cure For Mediocrity

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 18 January 2020 Devotional by Pastor Paul Enenche: Excellence – The Cure For Mediocrity Topic:  Excellence – The Cure For Mediocrity Nothing can be glorious until somebody is serious; and nothing can be excellent until somebody deploys excellence. SCRIPTURE:  “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm” –  Daniel 6:3 (KJV) THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  Nothing can be glorious until somebody is serious; and nothing can be excellent until somebody deploys excellence. Excellence connotes the condition of being superior, especially in performance. It is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. On the other hand, mediocrity is an average existence. From our anchor scripture, we see that the major secret that made Daniel to stand out even in a strange land was the delivery of excellence on his assignment. Beloved, avoid mediocrity; do not give

Malami: Bring It On... Or Go To Blazes! By Bayo Oluwasanmi

Bayo Oluwasanmi Bayo Oluwasanmi   All things considered, General Muhammadu Buhari’s regime is an anathema. General Buhari as President, continues to govern Nigeria as a nation where the lion is led by monkeys. Buhari’s attorney general of the federation Abubakar Malami, is one of the most infamous members of Buhari’s cabinet. Malami always search for a banana peel to step on. When he can’t find one to step on, he supplies his own. While we are yet to recover from his juvenile and primitive interpretation and application of court orders that granted Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare bail, he came out like a confused lost cow and declared Amotekun illegal. Amotekun is the security outfit established by the six governors of south west states to protect lives and properties of their citizens. Amotekun was conceived and birthed due to the abysmal failure of Buhari’s regime to secure life and properties of Nigerians. Political science 101 informs us that any government that fails

Coldrum Long Barrow

Coldrum Long Barrow . The Coldrum Long Barrow is a ruined British Early Neolithic chambered long barrow near the village of Trottiscliffe, Kent. Probably constructed in the fourth millennium BCE, it was built by pastoralist communities soon after the introduction of agriculture to Britain. Built out of earth and around fifty local sarsen-stone megaliths, the barrow consisted of a tumulus enclosed by kerb-stones. At the eastern end of the tumulus was a stone chamber containing the remains of at least seventeen human bodies, at least one of which had been dismembered before burial, potentially reflecting a tradition of excarnation and secondary burial. The long barrow later became dilapidated, possibly exacerbated through deliberate destruction by iconoclasts or treasure hunters. Local folklore associates the site with the burial of a prince and the countless stones motif. Excavations took place in the early 20th century, and in 1926, ownership was transferred to the National Trust. Ent
