The Katsina State Police Command has arrested Kabiru Bashir and Sadiq Ashiru, both of Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State for posing as spirits (Aljanu) to defraud people.  The police disclosed this in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Gambo Isah, on Wednesday. Isah said nemesis caught up with the suspects after they stole the ATM card of one Rabi’atu Garba and told her they were spirits, asking her to give them her PIN. According to a video shared on Twitter by Anyamah Douglas, a Ugandan national, Barbara was seen being led away by some security officers. UNICEF The United Nations Children’s Fund has said the closure of schools as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic will adversely affect the development, safety and well-being of children globally, noting that schools are not drivers of the viral disease.
