The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) suffered another huge loss in Kwara state on Sunday, March 3, as at least 2,500 of its members dumped its fold and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has reportedly escaped death as thugs were said to have attacked his convoy and set two cars ablaze. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that Justice James Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, March 1, granted its application for the final forfeiture of N732.85million to the federal government. According to the anti-corruption agency, the forfeiture includes a plot of land situated at Katsina Road by Ogbomosho Road, Kaduna North local government, worth N190 million, all believed to be proceeds of unlawful activities.
