A statement on Thursday said the arrested suspects – Daniel Stephen, Nestor Ezeani, Sonny Okwaraji, Sylvester Otuwa and Jeff Ogbonaya – allegedly masterminded the theft of $257,822.16 (about N98 million) from a new generation bank. The people of Ketu communities in the Yewa North Local Government area Ogun State have had to face reprisals by killer Fulani herdsmen following the visit of self-acclaimed Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, to the area. Pupils of United Comprehensive High School, Wasimi in the Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State on Thursday morning, blocked the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway to protest against the alleged killing of their colleague. Boko Haram insurgents have attacked the 3 Battalion Base in Rann in the Kala Balge Local Government Area of Borno State, the Nigerian Army confirmed on Thursday.
