Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Your Action And Your Outcome

Topic: Your Action And Your Outcome [Seeds of Destiny 26 October 2019 Devotional] Your action sponsors your outcome, and your behaviour is critical to your becoming in life. SCRIPTURE:  That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.  1 Timothy 6:18 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  Your action sponsors your outcome, and your behaviour is critical to your becoming in life. Some time ago, I heard the story of a young man who committed sexual immorality with another man’s wife. What happened thereafter? The following morning, when he arrived at his office, he was fired. Was it merely a coincidence? Not necessarily. The frightening thing was that nobody in his office saw him when he committed the iniquity. He did it secretly, quietly and privately, but in the realm of the spirit, an attack went forth against his destiny. When he was handed the sack letter, he asked, ‘what did I do?’ Nobody explained anything to him. But he himself knew what he di

DCLM Daily Manna – God’s Universal Sovereignty

Topic: God’s Universal Sovereignty [DCLM Daily Manna 26 October 2019 Daily Devotional By Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi] Text:  Isaiah 20:1-6 (KJV) Key Verse:  “And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?”  (Isaiah – 20:6). It is erroneous to hold the view that the Bible is only a record of God’s relationship with Israel of old. As the Judge of all the earth, He is interested in the activities of the works of His hands across the planet and even beyond. He may have, in His infallible Wisdom, used the Jews as His point of contact with the rest of the world. But now He is, dispensing His statutes, judgment and love to all, irrespective of race, gender or social status. On countless occasions, the Bible records the absolute Lord of the world as sending His prophets all the way from Israel to deliver His word to other nations. One such demonstration o

Commuters Stranded In Abuja As Police Cordon Off Major Roads To "Allow Buhari Pass" From Airport

Commuters in Abuja, Nigeria's capital, are currently stranded due to the cordoining off of major roads leading to the presidential villa in anticipation of President Muhammadu Buhari's return from the airport.  Buhari, who was in Russia for a summit, arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Friday evening. An eyewitness stuck in the girdlock, Tosin Adeniji, who spoke to SaharaReporters, said, "It has caused a lot of traffic for people going towards Banex, Maitama, Secretariat.  "We've been waiting for over 30mins now. Buhari has still not passed and no movement." Another commuter, who only wanted to be identified as Suleiman, said, "I've been stuck here for about 30 to 35 mins.   "I know he is the President of the Federal Republic but the way they are going about it is not good.  "For example, he is not passing through this road, he is passing under a bridge. 10 minutes to his coming is enough to stop everyo

Jaekelopterus

Jaekelopterus . Jaekelopterus was a predatory aquatic arthropod of the order of eurypterids, often called sea scorpions. Its claws and compound eyes indicate it was active and powerful with high visual acuity, most likely an apex predator in the ecosystems of Euramerica. Fossils have been discovered from roughly 400 million years ago, during the Early Devonian. There are two known species: the type species J. rhenaniae from brackish to fresh water strata in the Rhineland, and J. howelli from estuarine strata in Wyoming. Based on isolated fossil remains from the Klerf Formation of Germany, J. rhenaniae has been estimated to have reached a size of around 2.3–2.6 metres (7.5–8.5 ft), making it the largest arthropod ever discovered. J. howelli was much smaller, reaching 80 centimetres (2.6 ft) in length. In overall appearance, Jaekelopterus was similar to other pterygotid eurypterids, with enlarged pincers and forelimbs. The genus was named for German paleontologist Otto Jaekel, who descr
