Are Nigerians Asking for Too Much?

[Daily Trust] I was at the departure hall of the Chief Margaret Ekpo International Airport in Calabar. My flight to Abuja had been delayed for about two hours, no big deal. I had time then to begin to write this article. A great opportunity I would say. I had arrived at the check-in counter and was promptly attended to, not many passengers today. I wanted to move to the departure lounge but I was asked by the ground handling guy to follow him. He had my suitcase and that of a white lady, a fellow passenger. South Africa: The Fight for Land Is a Fight for Cattle

[The Journalist] In E.W.M. Mesatywa's book titled Izaci namaqhalo esiXhosa (Xhosa idioms and proverbs) published in 1971, he records a list of proverbs. Of all the amaqhalo (proverbs) recorded, 31% relate to cattle. The book is the most comprehensive regarding Xhosa idioms and proverbs and it's clear that a strong relationship between cattle and amaXhosa dominates, leading me to dig deep into the relationship between cattle and amaXhosa. via LATEST NEWS

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Existing As A Blessing

Topic: Existing As A Blessing [Seeds of Destiny 3 November 2019 Devotional] God does not bless containers, He blesses channels; any water that does not flow must stink. SCRIPTURE:  I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shall be a blessing. –  Genesis 12: 2 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:  God does not bless containers; He blesses channels; any water that does not flow must stink. The Blessing of God is behind the making of notable men and women, both in scriptural and contemporary times. Blessed people are eminent and prominent people in their generation. But it is one thing to be blessed, and another thing to become a blessing. Being blessed is not enough, becoming a channel of blessing to others is far more important. Existing as a blessing involves the act of contributing positively to the lives of others. It is living to ameliorate people’s challenges or burdens. It is a life that adds value to other people’s lives. It is a point whe
