FG orders importation of 30 coaches, 300 wagons for completion of Lagos-Ibadan rail

Nigeria's minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday, January 8, announced that the Federal Government has ordered the importation of 30 coaches and 300 wagons for the Lagos-Ibadan railway project. Amaechi while speaking during the assessment of the ongoing work being done on the project by the China Civil Engineering Construction Company said these new coaches and wagons will increase the transportation of passengers and goods from Lagos to others states in the southwest region. Punch reports that the minister also noted that the FG has directed the CCECC to speed up its work on the Iju-Agbado section of the project. A 25-year-old young lady identified as Yewande Osunsanya has been declared missing in London. A Facebook user, Helen Koliah Fagbemi, shared photos of the London-based Nigerian lady whom reports reveal is a vulnerable adult with learning disabilities.
