The supreme court has confirmed that All Progressive Congress will not candidates in Rivers during the forthcoming 2019 general elections. Reports by Channel TV claimed that the court dismissed an appeal filed by the APC challenging the judgment of a high court in Port Harcourt. The earlier barred the party from conducting any primaries in the state to nominate candidates to represent the party in the elections.
