The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has asked the public to disregard any information saying it is conducting staff recruitment. The immigration service denied the recruitment claim on its twitter page on Tuesday, April 9, adding that such information is the handiwork of fraudsters and the public should therefore not fall for it. It said: "We are NOT conducting any staff RECRUITMENT exercise into the Service at the moment. "Members of the public are therefore, advised to disregard any such advertisements as they are the handiwork of fraudsters seeking to deceive and defraud unsuspecting members of the public."
