Election boat mishap: NYSC member buried amidst tears in Akure

lbrahim Olalekan, a member of the NYSC, who died on Saturday after the House of Assembly election in Ese-Odo local government area of Ondo State, was buried on Monday, March 11, in Akure in accordance with Islamic rites. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the deceased, who hailed from Ogun, was a graduate of Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara. Olalekan, an ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission and his colleagues were said to be returning from Agadagba-Obon after completing their duty before the ugly incident occurred. Seven others, who survived the boat mishap but sustained injuries, were taken to a community health centre in Ese-Odo. Recently, one of the correspondents of Legit.ng interviewed a female citizen of Nigeria who lamented about her dire plight. According to her, she had been honest all her life especially during her work at the airport. Her honesty had been so consistent that she had managed to return misplaced N37m to the aviation sector. This woman named Josephine claimed that she was not rewarded for this rare sort of kindness that she carried out. Hence, while she should be praised for her kind gestures, she has been largely ignored. The interview carried out by Legit.ng went viral and caused many people all over the country to respond kindly by donating to her. One such person that has come all the way out to render an assistance is Daddy Freeze. Nigerians plan candlelight gathering procession in memory of Pius Adesanmi in Abuja

Following the tragic death of a Nigerian professor, Pius Adesanmi in the ill-fated Boeing 737-800 MAX plane crash belonging to Ethiopian Airline on March 10, many people have taken to social media to mourn.
