Sultan of Sokoto says traditional rulers remain fathers of all, prays for successful 2019 elections

The president general, Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) and Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has urged politicians to practice the game of politics according to the law, Daily Trust reports. Legit.ng gathered that the Sultan while receiving President Muhammadu Buhari during a courtesy, asserted that traditional rulers remained fathers of all and prayed for successful conduct of 2019 general elections. The Sultan assured that they would continue to give their fatherly advice for the interest of people. He added that they should not consider politics as war.
