Breaking: House of Reps member Kabiru Abayomi dies in Lagos hospital

It was day of mourning for the residents of the Ibeju-Lekki federal constituency as the member representing them at the House of Representatives, Hon Kabiru Abayomi Ayeola, was declared dead after a brief illness. Legit.ng confirmed the sad incident from sources close to the lawmaker and they confirmed that the lawmaker died on Sunday, December 30. The nature of the illness could not, however, be ascertained. Hon Kabiru Abayomi Ayeola was, until his death, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). A brief biography of the deceased on the website of the National Assembly shows he was 60 years old and former local government chairman.
