Traditional Ruler, Son Shot Dead In Kaduna

Armed men on Tuesday launched an attack on Ma-zakki Village in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing Haruna Kuye, district head of Gidan Zaki and his son. The widow of the district head also sustained injuries from machete cuts while her daughter had a gunshot wound on her finger. Samuel Aruwan, the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, confirmed the incident in a statement. BREAKING: Armed Policemen Block Road Leading To African Shrine Over Planned #EndSARS Meeting

Officers of the Nigeria Police Force have blocked the road leading to African Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos, in a bid to prevent a meeting on #EndSARS protest from taking place. The meeting, which was organised by Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, was originally scheduled to be held on Tuesday at the African Shrine. There are over 20 police vans with armed policemen present to prevent people from accessing the venue. #FreeEromz: Police Takeover Lagos Court Ahead Of Court Hearing Of Arrested Protester

Officers of the Nigeria Police Force have taken over the Yaba Magistrate Court where Eromosele Adene is to arraigned. Adene was arrested from his house for partaking in the recent #EndSARS protest in Lagos. Armed officers were drawn from different divisions as they restricted movement around the court. Adene was brought before the court 10 days after he was arrested. He was charged on offences bothering on cyber stalking and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.
