Frank Ugboma Honourable Frank Ugboma, Deputy Minority Leader, Imo State House of Assembly, who sponsored the recently signed Imo State Administration of Criminal bill No 2 of 2020 (ISACJL, 2020) has revealed that the bill had been altered. Governor Hope Uzodinma on Thursday signed into law the ISACJL, 2020, which empowers him to arrest and detain any resident of the state for as long as he wishes. Ugboma, who spoke after the bill was met with wide criticisms, said some sections were sneaked into the bill by some unknown individuals. According to TheCable, the soldier, a lance corporal attached to the Nigerian  Army 27 Task Force Brigade in Buni Gari, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State, committed suicide on Thursday at his duty post.  “He shot himself in the head and died immediately before other soldiers could even rush to help,” a military source told the newspaper. Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists have attacked two villages in Borno, killing no fewer than three persons while others were injured. SaharaReporters gathered that the insurgents attacked Gareri and Kuwami communities both in Magumeri Local Government Area. Magumeri is North and about 40km drive from Maiduguri, the state capital, which had witnessed series of Boko Haram attacks.
