Some internally displaced persons in Banki area of Bama Local Government Area in Borno State on Monday embarked on a protest over failure of the authorities to supply them with food items. Tope Akinyode, a Nigerian rights lawyer, has threatened to sue the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for parading members of the public arrested on suspicion of financial impropriety.  The EFCC currently parades suspect of alleged crimes before charging them to court.  The anti-graft agency does not, however, parade many high profile politicians arrested on suspicion of fraud and misappropriation of public funds. File Photo Armed Fulani herdsmen have invaded another village in the Christian-dominated Southern Kaduna axis of Kaduna State, burning two persons to death in their homes. Cecilia Ishaya, a 62-year-old widow and mother of six children, was set ablaze in her home alongside Iliya Sunday, a 56-year-old man, who was also burnt alive in his residence. He is survived by eight children.
