Nigeria listed among countries with severe hunger - UN report

Nigeria has been listed as one of the countries experiencing acute hunger, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation's Global Report on Food Crisis 2019. According to the report, no fewer than 113 million people experienced high levels of food insecurity in the world’s most severe food crises in 2018. The report, which was released on Wednesday, April 3, in Brussels, said the food crises were primarily caused by conflict and climate-related disasters.
