Closing Cryptocurrency Accounts Can’t Stop Sunday Igboho’s Funding — Lawyer

Sunday Igboho Legal practitioner, Tommy Ojoge-Daniel, has said the recent warning issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria to financial institutions and others against doing businesses in crypto and other digital assets, cannot stop the fundraiser set up for Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo (Igboho). Ojoge-Daniel, disclosed this in an interview with the PUNCH on Friday shortly after the CBN issued its directive. Sunday Igboho Supporters of Igboho had set up a Gofundme page for the purpose of raising £100,000 (N51.8 million) for him to buy buses. The fundraiser, which was initiated by Maureen Badejo, a blogger and activist based in the United Kingdom, had garnered £26, 452 (N13.8 million) as of the time of filing this report.  It was gathered that crypto currency was one of the major ways through which funds sourced through crowd funding are accessed. You will Die Prematurely – Apostle Suleman Threatens Pastor In Leaked Audio

A former Pastor with the Omega Fire Ministries, Mike Davids, has released an audio clip in which the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleman, is heard threatening that the pastor “will die prematurely.” According to Punch, the audio clip was said to have been recorded during a phone conversation between Apostle Suleman and Davids shortly after Davids made a viral video accusing Suleman of sleeping with his wife, Pastor Faith Edeko, in the presence of their young daughter. Both Suleman and Edeko have since denied the allegation. In the recorded call which is about 42 seconds long, a voice which sounds like that of Apostle Suleman is heard threatening to make Davids disappear. Four Oyo Amotekun Operatives In intensive Care After Clash With Hoodlums

Following an attack on operatives of the Oyo State Police Command and the state security network popularly known as Amotekun Corps on Friday by hoodlums, SaharaReporters has learnt that four Amotekun operatives were in intensive care after a clash with hoodlums in Ibadan. The management of Amotekun in the state said the men were in intensive care in the University College Hospital, Ibadan. A statement by the Media Management Department, Amotekun, Oyo State indicated that the violence that led the men to the hospital followed a distress call by Odeyale Community Landlords’ Association. Arewa Group Asks Ogun Governor To Resign, Calls Igboho Fake Activist

Governor Dapo Abiodun The Arewa United Consultative Forum has asked the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to resign for what it called his failure to secure and protect the people in his state. The group went further to condemn the activities of Chief Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, for allegedly destroying Fulani herdsmen settlements in the state early this week.
