Nigerian footballer Ahmed Musa reportedly gifts N250,000 to street cleaner in Delta

News making the round on social media has it that a prominent Nigerian footballer reportedly showed an act of kindness to a less privileged citizen of Delta state.

The Nigerian footballer identified as Ahmed Musa, has been one that has made a reputation for himself when it comes to showing acts of benevolence to people who are in need.

It was gathered that a woman had visited the Super Eagles camp in Delta state, in search of a menial job that would have offered her a meager pay of N3000.

Coincidentally, during one of the training sessions at the camp, it was alleged that Musa had spotted a 3-year-old kid around the vicinity and brought him along into the team bus.

Few moments later, the footballer beckoned on the mother of the kid to have an interaction with her. The result of the conversation they both had however took a lucky turn for the poor woman, as it was reported that she received a credit alert that caused her to scream so loud and attract attention to herself.

The text message had been a credit alert of N250k which was allegedly deposited into her account by the footballer.

A visit to the footballer’s social media page does not show pictures of him with the woman that reportedly benefited from his kindness.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously gathered the report of popular Nigerian actress Omoni Oboli, who had taken to social media to berate online beggars. The actress had charged them to do something tangible and stop expecting handouts from citizens working hard to earn a living.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
