Made in heaven: Couple set to wed 7 years after first wedding was postponed over ghastly accident (photos)

Some love stories are usually said to have been made in heaven. This is because despite the many odds they face, the lovers entwined in this fairy tale manage to entangle themselves from their challenges and still make the impossible happen. The love story of Zabrang Shehu and Rahab Mercy is one such account that was sure to have been made in the same place where angels were created.

A Facebook user named Emmanuel Junior Zakka told the story of this couple in a gripping way. He started off by narrating how Zabrang Shehu was his senior in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU). Shehu was a sterling student who eventually emerged as the best graduating student in his set.

Even in a previous institution which he attended, he was also the very best. This caused him to be eyed by many employers of labour. In fact, he got two job offers just after he finished schooling. But then, tragedy reared up its ugly head and he had to forfeit both jobs. This was all Emmanuel Junior Zakka knew of his wonderful schoolmate.

Well, Zabrang Shehu himself filled in the puzzle that Emmanuel could not. According to him, he met a woman named Mercy - beautiful, spirit-filled, his type of woman. They started courting and went ahead to see his parents and hers. In fact, a date had been set as to when they were expected to get married in 2012.

Mercy and Shehu embarked on a journey on April 6 of that year and this was when their lives changed. In what could only be regarded as divine intervention, Mercy was forced to board another bus leaving Shehu in a vehicle by himself.

In another stroke of intervention, a particular man insisted on sitting in exactly the same spot Shehu sat. After dragging for a while, in anger, he let this strange individual take his place. Well, an accident happened which terribly affected the strange man in so much that he died. By implication, the strange died in Shehu's stead.

Shehu was not left unscathed however. He sustained several major injuries all over his internal organs. By several strokes of good fortune and intervention, he got taken care of and his body was patched bit by bit. But this took seven whole years. In the midst of this gruesome experience, Mercy, his fiancee, stood by him all through.

Former Maritime Agency Boss, Buba Galadima, Accuses AMCON Of Witch-hunt After Property Takeover

A former Director-General of the Nigeria Maritime Agency, Buba Galadima, has accused the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria of witch-hunt after the agency took possession of his business and assets on Tuesday in Abuja. Galadima, an ardent critic of President Muhammadu Buhari, claimed that he did not borrow money or have unpaid debt with Unity Bank, which lodged a complaint against him and occasioned AMCON’s move on Tuesday. The properties taken over include House No. 15, Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and House No. 4, Bangui Street, Wuse 2, also in Abuja.  Reacting to the situation, Galadima said, “This is an attempt to disgrace and break me down. This is injustice and an attempt to humiliate me. "But I am unbreakable and they can never silence me. They sacked me and over 50 people that sleep in the apartment. "We don’t know where to go.
