Arsenal are now officially out of the 2018/19 Premier League title race after losing against Everton on Sunday, April 7.

The Gunners' defeat against Everton at the Goodison Park means they are now 19 points behind leaders Liverpool with six games to end the ongoing Premier League season.

Meanwhile, the 2003/04 Arsenal team were the side who won the Premier League title when the Gunners played the whole season without losing a game.

Arsenal's focus this season will now be in the Europa League and also fight to finish among the top four so as for them to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Arsenal suffered their seventh Premier League defeat following their 1-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, April 7.

Phil Jagielka scored the only goal that separated the two sides in the 10th minute of the meeting as the Toffees claim maximum points after regulation period.

The 36-year-old simply tapped into the net a loose ball which came to him after a goal-mouth scramble from both sides.
