Hazard’s deal at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of next season, and the Belgium international has also rejected to extend his stay with the west London side.

With the Blues two-year transfer ban, Chelsea chiefs are desperate to keep Hazard as they will be blocked from securing a replacement during the window.

Chelsea have set a £98million price tag on the attacker with the threat of losing Hazard for nothing in 2020, despite being a free agent.

The 26-year-old forced a move away from Stamford Bridge to join Real Madrid in August but his first season at the Bernabeu has been marked with series of school-boy errors.
