The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Demsa local government area of Adamawa state, Hamisu Mijinyawa, who was abducted by unknown gunmen about a week ago has reportedly regained freedom. The publicity secretary of APC, Mohammed Abdullahi, reportedly confirmed the release of Demsa LGA APC chairman. Recall that Hamisu Mijinyawa was abducted last week and taken to an unknown destination.The party chieftain was said to have been abducted by around 1am on Wednesday, January 30, at his residence ahead of the flag-off of the presidential/governorship campaign in Demsa local government area of the state.
