Social media has been thrown into a frenzy after photos of a plate of amala and ewedu soup being sold for a whooping N6,500 at a restaurant in Lagos. One of the major reasons the Yoruba delicacy pair popularly known as Amala and ewedu is accepted nationwide is its delicious taste. The second reason is the fact that it is relatively affordable and can be easily gotten anywhere.
