Mohamed Salah threatens to leave Liverpool after fall out with Klopp just before Champions League game with Porto

- AS added that Liverpool's hierarchy stepped in to persuade Salah to remain with club

Mohamed Salah asked to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, according to a sensational report in the Spanish press.

According to Spanish news media outlet AS, Salah wants to end his spell with Liverpool and he is ready to listen to offers in the summer.

Reports claim that just hours before Liverpool Champions League match with FC Porto on Wednesday night, the 26-year-old had a misunderstanding with Jurgen Klopp.

It is understood Salah was unhappy with the German coach and threatened to leave the club he would submit a transfer request to force a move out of Anfield.

AS added that the Reds hierarchy stepped into the matter and persuaded the Egyptian against his wish.

But in exchange, if Salah does not change his mind between now and May, they have promised to facilitate the transfer.

The claims had barely sank before Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa moved to rubbish the report, writing on Twitter: "Talking out of their AS again I see"

Salah was heavily linked to Real Madrid last summer, but resisted a move to the Bernabeu in favour of another year with Liverpool.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
