Father of Man United star confirms his son has mega offer to join MLS club

- Antonio Valencia is now expected to leave Manchester United this summer

- His father Luis confirmed that his son has gotten an offer to play in MLS

- Injuries and lack of active playing times this season is forcing Valencia out of Man United

Antonio Valencia's father Luis has confirmed that his son could be facing the exit doors this summer at Manchester United after receiving offer from an unnamed MLS club.

The 33-year-old Ecuadorian football star has made only five appearances for Manchester United in the Premier League during this campaign after struggling with injuries.

Valencia's current contract at Manchester United will expire this summer, and Old Trafford chiefs have not held any talk of him signing another deal.

Should Manchester United fail to tie him down to a new deal, Antonio Valencia will leave the Premier League side on a free transfer this summer.

Before the beginning of the ongoing Premier League season, West Ham and Inter Milan are said to be interested in Antonio Valencia, but his father has revealed a likely destination for the player.

"Antonio Valencia has an offer from an MLS team to sign for two seasons.

''He will definitely not continue in Manchester because wants a change in the air and the club is not going to renew his contract either. Like everything in life, everything comes to an end,'' Luis told Ecuador radio station Area Deportiva.

Manchester United are currently occupying sixth position on the Premier League standings with 61 points after 32 games.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Antonio Valencia will be the first Manchester player to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season after both player and club failed to reach an agreement over new contract talks.

The Red Devils captain has only made eight appearances this campaign playing just five Premier League matches and three Champions League games.
