Buhari a God sent, saviour of this country - Joyous supporter says as Kwara anticipates president's arrival

- There is a traffic gridlock on major roads in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, ahead of the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari

- It was gathered that the streets and major roads such Asa Dam road, Offa Garage Road, Taiwo and Unity roads were filled up with people

- Residents in Ilorin said they are ready to campaign for Buhari and re-elect him to consolidate his achievements

There is massive traffic gridlock on major roads in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state, ahead of the anticipated arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari for the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign rally.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s presidential flag bearer, President Muhammadu Buhari, and his team would storm Ilorin to seek support for Saturday February 16's presidential and National Assembly elections.

Legit.ng gathers that the streets and major roads such Asa Dam road, Offa Garage Road, Taiwo and Unity roads were filled up with people awaiting the arrival of President Buhari.

Gani Adeshina, an APC member describes the traffic hold up as a show of love for Buhari.

He said: “As you can see the traffic gridlock, it is a sign that we love Baba. He is Godsend. We are waiting and expecting Baba’s arrival.''

Another APC member, Iyabo Bako, said she is a fan of Baba and desperately waiting to cheer Baba when he finally arrives.

She said: “As you can see Baba’s vest is everywhere in the town. I am Baba’s number one fan and fully ready to receive him today.''

An Ilorin resident, Dayo Aina said he is ready to campaign for Buhari.

He said: “I am canvassing and doing house to house campaign for Baba because he is the saviour of this country.''

Legit.ng had earlier reported that a high number of security operatives were on Saturday, February 9, deployed to strategic positions at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, ahead of the today’s visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

The security operatives were already at their respective positions at about 6.30 am.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
