Sarri sends Eden Hazard warning shots as play-maker nears Chelsea exit

- Eden Hazard has been told by Maurizio Sarri to improve his games for Chelsea

- Sarri praised Hazard's qualities as a world class player and wants more from him

- Hazard has played 22 Premier League games this season for Chelsea scoring 10 goals

Eden Hazard has been told by his manager Maurizio Sarri to improve his game after the Italian manager claimed that the Belgian play-maker is stifling his Premier League side Chelsea.

Hazard has been impressive for the Blues this season even as his future at the club comes under close scrutiny.

However, according to a UK Metro report, Sarri has demanded more from Hazard, insisting he has to do more on the pitch.

The former Napoli tactician further took issue with Hazard's positional discipline and leadership qualities, claiming the Belgian is not fulfilling his potential.

Whereas the Italian admitted the 25-year-old is one of the best footballers, he was quick to warn him his desire to roam and drop deep is hurting the team and himself.

"You know very well that Eden is a wonderful player but he is an individual player. He is an instinctive player," the UK Metro quoted Sarri.

"For him it’s very difficult to play only in one position. He likes to go to the ball, he wants the ball on the feet and so for him I think it’s very difficult to play as a striker but it’s very difficult to play also as a winger," he added.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard has played 22 Premier League games this season for Chelsea scoring 10 goals and also 10 assists for the Blues.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Belgium international Eden Hazard reportedly made up his mind to stay at Chelsea until the end of the ongoing Premier League season and then leaves for possible move to Real Madrid.

Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos' chiefs have been looking for a replacement in which Hazard has emerged as a target.

And according to the latest report, Eden Hazard is ready to reject any contract offers from Chelsea even though his current deal will expire in the next 18 months.
