Let's join hands to bring Nigeria close to our founding fathers' dreams - Jonathan in New Year's message

A former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians to join hands in bringing the country close to the dreams of her founding fathers.

In a 2019 New Year's message to Nigerians, Jonathan said there is hope and a future for Nigeria as the new year presents a new opportunity to be better leaders and citizens across Nigeria.

Jonathan said while 2019 will surely come with its own challenges, a collective national attitude to those challenges will help ensure Nigeria survives and thrives towards these dreams.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has felicitated with all Nigerians on the new year 2019, urging citizens to reflect on the progress the country has made under its leadership.

The party in a New Year message to Nigerians, canvassed for the continued support for the efforts of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration in addressing the country's challenges.
