Nigerians react as CJN Onnoghen resigns from office

The embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, resigned from office on April 5, 2018, barely 24hours after the National Judicial Council (NJC) recommended that he be compulsorily retired for misconduct and false assets declaration. CJN Onnoghen reportedly sent his resignation letter to the office of President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday evening, April 4. Although, the lawyer to the CJN, Adegboyega Awomolo, explained that Onnoghen resigned in the interest of the judiciary, Nigerians on social media have a lot to say about the CJN's resignation. - A Nigerian lady has accused a school of covering up a molestation incident - The lady called out the school for letting a male teacher go free after he allegedly molested some of his students - It was gathered that the teacher had reportedly molested pupils between the age of 9 and 10 for three years Legit.ng has come across the sad story of primary school students who were allegedly molested by their teacher. A Nigerian lady identified as Adana_Chelle had called out a teacher and a primary school on her Instagram page. Innocent Nigerians abroad must be protected, we won't accept anything that stains country's image - Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani, a lawmaker representing Kaduna Central has called for the protection of innocent Nigerians and that there must be a renewed efforts to take care of all frame ups in countries like Suadia Arabia where criminal activities carry a capital punishment. Sani in a tweet on Friday, April 5, on his twitter page reacted to the recent execution of a Nigeria by the Saudi Arabian government. Akindele-Bello noted that her mother was one of her greatest motivation and pillars who encouraged her not to quit the movie industry. Eventually, the disappointment ended when she got her big break in a soap opera titled I need to know. Afterwards, though, she had a dearth again which was even worse than the first one. But her passion, determination and persistence gave way so that, now, she has become a star to be reckoned with.
