Woman Hits 7-year-old Housemaid With Pestle, Doused Her With Hot Water When She Fainted

A woman, simply identified as Uchenna, has allegedly molested a 7-year-old girl, Ifebuche Okoro, who served as her housemaid for one month in Nnewi, Anambra State. In a report sent to SaharaReporters by one Gozz Carl Chigbata, the 7-year-old girl sustained injuries all over her body due to the physical assault she suffered from Uchenna. Okoro, the victim, alleged that Uchenna hit her in the face several times with a broom and that she suffered swollen eyes. She also said her right wrist and palm got swollen when Uchenna asked her to put her hand on a table and then proceeded to hit her with a pestle. The young girl, who sustained burns on her back, also alleged that Uchenna poured hot water on her when she fainted. Yoruba rights activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho, has urged the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, to order the immidiate arrest of a suspected Fulani criminal, Iskilu Wakili, said to be terrorising residents of Ayete, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of the state. Residents of Ibarapa area have alleged that Wakili recruited over 100 Fulani people with sophiscated weapons to terrorise them. Igboho, in an interview on Sunday, said there were many misconceptions about him, adding that Wakili must be driven out of Ibarapa forest. “Yes, the people are living in fear. Immigration Officer, Wife, Two Others Kidnapped In Abuja

A retired Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Alhaji Abdulahi Idris Rakieu, has been kidnapped in Abuja alongside his wife, another member of the family, and one Olushola Agun. SaharaReporters gathered that the kidnappers, said to be of Fulani extraction, stormed the town, Tungan Maje around midnight on Sunday, and shot indiscriminately into the air before gaining access into the victims’ residence. A source told SaharaReporters that the operation, which lasted about three hours, was carried out by kidnappers dressed in military uniform and speaking Hausa and Fulani (Fulfulde) languages. Some kidnappers had in October 2020 carried out a successful operation in Tunga Maje, abducting 20 people. I Don’t Need Donations From Diaspora – Sunday Igboho

Sunday Igboho Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo  popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has said he doesn’t need funding from anyone in the diaspora.  He also dismissed claims there was any fundraiser started on his behalf.  Sunday Igboho Igboho who stated this in an interview with Punch on Sunday, said all he needs is the support of Yoruba people in every part of the world.  Dismissing claims of the fundraiser, he said, “I don’t need such and there is nothing like that.” Meanwhile, SaharaReporters reported how supporters of Igboho set up a Gofundme page for the purpose of raising £100,000 (N51.8 million) for him to buy buses.
