JUST IN: Akure Pastor Shot By Gunmen On Ilesha-Ibadan Road Is Dead. A senior Pastor at CAC , Glory of God , FUTA Akure , Dr Amos Arijesuyo who was allegedly shot on Saturday by suspected herdsmen has died. The Clergyman and his driver were attacked by suspected herdsmen on the Akure Ilesha Road Saturday between five and six o clock in the evening while retuning from Ibadan, Oyo State. Pastor Arijesuyo who sustained bullet wounds from the attack had been receiving treatment in a hospital in Akure before passing away on Sunday night. NDDC: Ijaw Youths Suspend Protest Over Appointment Of Sole Administrator

Bandits Kill Ward Head, 80-year-old Woman, Three Others In Kaduna

Three persons were reportedly killed at the weekend at Dyom village near Senga community in the Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State, when armed men in military camouflage said to be loyalists of the late militia leader, Terwase Agwaza, also known as Gana, invaded the community, Vanguard reports. Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said it won’t support a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction. IPOB, in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, alleged that all the people being prepared for the position are stooges that will be used against the interest of Ndigbo, Biafrans and the group.
