Hisbah Police Warns Radio Station To Stop Using ‘Black Friday’ For Sales Promo In Kano

Kano State Hisbah Board has warned a radio station, Cool FM, demanding that its staff stop calling Friday ‘Black Friday’. Sex Worker Stabs Man To Death In Lagos Over Non-Payment

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a commercial sex worker, Dorothy Eze (not real names), for allegedly stabbing her client, identified only as Felix, to death in the Olodi Apapa area of the state. SaharaReporters learned that an argument between Felix and Eze at the back of Phase II Hotel in the area over non-payment after sexual intercourse turned into a brawl. The suspect allegedly got a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the stomach. Some residents said it was unclear the amount that caused the dispute, adding that the duo knew each other. The matter was reported at the Tolu Police Division by one of the residents. “The incident happened around 12.10 am last Friday,” said Oluwole Kazeem, a resident of the area. “Felix lived on Mission Street, Tolu Olodi, Apapa. Auditor-General’s Office Fails To Release COVID-19 Funds’ Audit Report For Four Weeks

Auditor-General for the Federation, Anthony Mkpe Ayine The Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation has refused to release the Audit Report on COVID-19 Funds spent in the country, covering the period of March to June 2020, since October ending when it was expected.   The former AuGF, Mr Anthony Ayine, who retired by the end of October, had on October 14 at a function, noted that the first part of the Audit Report on COVID-19 funds from March to June 2020 would be released by the end of October. India Narcotic Bureau Nabs Two Nigerians For Selling Illegal Drug-Making Substance

Officials from the Narcotic Control Bureau in Bengaluru, India have arrested two Nigerians and two female Indian boxers for trying to sell a performance-enhancing substance called pseudoephedrine. The substance is used in making psychotic drugs. The size of the 6kg pseudoephedrine confiscation is 2m rupee or (n10.31m). diGJamaica According to an official of the bureau, the seizure was made on November 11. “On credible inputs, the NCB on November 11 seized 6.870 kg of pseudoephedrine from two parcels at Amruthahalli, worth around Rs 20 lakh. The contraband was concealed in baby bags,” NCB’s Bengaluru Zonal Director, Amit Ghawate, said.
