Nigerians react as CJN Onnoghen resigns from office

The embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, resigned from office on April 5, 2018, barely 24hours after the National Judicial Council (NJC) recommended that he be compulsorily retired for misconduct and false assets declaration. CJN Onnoghen reportedly sent his resignation letter to the office of President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday evening, April 4. Although, the lawyer to the CJN, Adegboyega Awomolo, explained that Onnoghen resigned in the interest of the judiciary, Nigerians on social media have a lot to say about the CJN's resignation. Nigerian lady accuses school of covering up incident of teacher who molested his students for 3 years

Innocent Nigerians abroad must be protected, we won't accept anything that stains country's image - Shehu Sani

Senator Shehu Sani, a lawmaker representing Kaduna Central has called for the protection of innocent Nigerians and that there must be a renewed efforts to take care of all frame ups in countries like Suadia Arabia where criminal activities carry a capital punishment.
