NCFront Supporters To Stage Solidarity Rally In Abuja For Na’aba Over DSS Invitation

Supporters of National Consultative Front will on Monday in Abuja stage a solidarity rally to escort former Speaker House of the Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’aba, to headquarters of the Department of State Services.

Na’aba was summoned by the agency over the interview he granted on Channels Television on Thursday on plans by his group to bring about a new Nigeria that will work for all.

The group in a statement on Sunday by Head, Public Affairs Bureau, Dr Tanko Yunusa, directed all members and leaders to converge at the National Secretariat in Abuja to support Na’aba.

The statement reads, “Please be notified that all leaders, members, allies and supporters of the NCFront are hereby enjoined to converge at 10am on Monday at the NCFront National Headquarters in Abuja for a major rally to solidarise and escort our leader, Ghali Umar Na’aba, to the DSS at 12noon.

“All NCFront organs, structures and allies nationwide are also enjoined to comply with this emergency directive of the NCFront leadership as eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.”

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID. Former Maritime Agency Boss, Buba Galadima, Accuses AMCON Of Witch-hunt After Property Takeover
