Set Apart - Chris Shalom & Wordbreed

Gospel music minister Chris Shalom returns with the Wordbreed Worship Group for the June 2020 edition of the Wordbreed Worship Service tagged “Set Apart.”

At a time when the world seems to persistently move from one challenge to the other, there is a need for the children of God to take their rightful place. The world is yearning for a silver lining, the forceful right word, a glimmer of hope, and we are looking everywhere except the one and only right place.

There is an urgency therefore, for the sons of God to manifest, those who have been set apart, made holy and righteous, consecrated for such a time as this. Those who will save many and raise up an altar that the knowledge of the glory of God may cover the earth like water covers the sea.

Chris Shalom and the Wordbreed invites you to this altar of alignment and consecration for God’s perfect will through the Wordbreed Worship Service. This edition has been carefully put together by the holy ghost to edify, inspire and launch you unto greater works.

In May Chris Shalom and the Wordbreed Worship Group had released a special edition of the worship service which was much talked about in the media. The June edition is a follow up, and Chris Shalom had hinted that similar to the previous year, the worship service will be on a monthly basis.

Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo

Fredrick Nwabufo ‘Why always Buhari?’ As it was in 1984 under General Buhari, so it is in 2016 and 2020 under President Buhari? Is it by the unfortunate hands of kismet that recession hits Nigeria every time Buhari takes charge of the country’s affairs? If the recession of the 80s under Buhari was a conspiracy by economic and political factors, to what do we attribute that of his first coming as a civilian President — and now in his second coming? Why does pestilence scourge the land, hunger ravage the population and lives lost malevolently when Buhari presides over the country? Why always Buhari? Buhari’s undoing is his wonted predilection for hierarchising ethnicity, religion and loyalty above competence. Since 1999, no President has obtrusively shown a more nepotistic aspect than Buhari. It is unarguable that the President arrays the most competence-challenged cabinet ever in the chronicle of governance in Nigeria. Yes, a recession cabinet. Fredrick Nwabufo Here is a cabin...
