Top 10 countries with lowest minimum wage in 2019

The clamour for the increase in commitment towards the welfare of workers is not only in Nigeria. Workers around the world are always in constant demand for better work pay and conditions.

According to Nomad Capitalist, the increase in minimum wage has been a battle since the 19th century even as most economists of the world do not agree on how an increase in minimum wage directly improves the economy.

It is quite surprising to note that some countries with good economic growth rate still fall under the list of nations with very low minimum wage.

1. Venezuela (below $24)

2. Pakistan ($113)

3. Ukraine ($140)

4. Egypt ($174)
