Pastor Enoch Adeboye gives advice to young ladies, tells them not to marry jobless men

- Adeboye explained that it is not sinful for a lady to want to know the employment status of a potential boyfriend

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has advised young single ladies on a major thing to do when they are thinking of settling down.

Pastor Adeboye had advised young single ladies to avoid jobless men. He warned them not marry a man who is unemployed.

Adeboye gave the advice during the May Special Prayer and Thanksgiving service on Sunday, May 6, at the RCCG Throne of Grace, National headquarters in Ebute Metta area of Lagos state.

The pastor explained that the woman would become the work if she ties the knot with a man who is jobless. He also expressed that it is not a sin for a single lady to ask a man proposing marriage about his employment status. He said: "if not you will be the work."

He further expressed that the man is the key and the woman has only come to help. He said: “Whatever the woman does is help. The man is major director in the house.”

Pastor Adeboye also noted that the home care does not soley rest on the woman. He also blamed lack of proper home training for most of the problems in the society.

He said: “I still remember when I was young. My father will tell me that this name is the name of my father. Don’t spoil the name. So I was scared to do wrong. I could not shake the hand of a lady until I was 23.

Learning for any child should start from the home and parents should be their child first teachers. The wife and the husband are the main teachers who will teach and model godly character to their children."

Pastor Johnson Odesola, the assistant general overseer of the church's personnel and administration, who represented Adeboye at the service gave the advice on his behalf.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year.
