Nigerian couple get engaged a week after meeting, tie the knot 4 months later (photos)

They say love is mystery but the best thing and the most powerful force in the universe. Although love is one of the ingredients that make a good marriage, wise people have often taught that a marriage should be built on the foundations of trust and respect and not just love.

It for this reason that many are advised to actively court their partners before walking down the aisle. however, there are some rare cases in which people decided to walk down the aisle in a matter of months after meeting someone and end up being together for many years.

Hopefully that is the case of Nigerian couple, Mathew Ozo Edeh and Precious Chiamaka who got engaged and held their introduction ceremony a week after meeting. The excited groom shared the details of their interesting union on social media in a post which has now been deleted.

In the post, he stated that himself and his newly-wed wife only courted for one week before they decided they were meant for each other and ready to walk through the path of life hand in hand.

The lovers held their introduction ceremony in a seemingly lovely ceremony which had many of their friends and family present. They also held their traditional wedding on March 30.

The excited bride also shared lovely photos from their white wedding which was held on April 28 in Kaduna.

Meanwhile, Nigerian cleric Sam Adeyemi, a senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, and his beautiful wife, Nike Adeyemi, recently celebrated 26 years of being married to one another.

The doting husband shared a celebratory post on social media in which he gushed over his wife and thanked the good lord for being their support over the years of their marriage.

He expressed appreciation to the almighty for blessing their union with beautiful children and being able to build several organizations together.

NLNG Signs Letter Of Intent On Delayed Gas Expansion Project

The Nigerian Natural Liquefied Gas LTD has signed a letter of intent for the engineering, procurement and construction of its long held up Train Seven project. In a statement released by the company on Wednesday, it said that the $10bn project will be executed by a consortium of Italian firm Saipem, Japan’s Chiyoda and South Korea’s Daewoo. The statement reads, “The project will form part of the investment of over $10bn including the upstream scope of the LNG value chain, thereby boosting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment profile of Nigeria.” Managing Director of NLNG, Tony Atta, said in 2018 that the Final Investment Decision would be made in the fourth quarter of that year. This did not however, materialize. According to the release, the project will have a four to five-year execution time after the signing of the FID.
